I went to the press a couple weeks ago to print out our poster-size save-the-dates.  Its based on an old-school rock concert poster and is printed in two colors, using wood block type.  Its a long process to be sure, but well worth the effort.  They are printed on Oatmeal Speckletone text weight paper from French Paper Company, I think it really gives it a craft, handmade old style look.  Below is a photo of the final product as well as the process.  Be sure to check out the videos too if you’d like to see the printing in action.
